Princess Manuel, LCSW

Princess (she/they) is a queer, Filipinx trauma-informed therapist who specializes in supporting individuals address the impacts of racism, sexism, classism, intergenerational and present-day traumas. Some symptoms folks experience may appear as fear, shame, self-doubt, rage/anger, depression, anxiety, or trauma responses of fight/flight/freeze/fawn. She utilizes a social justice, decolonization, holistic healing framework in her practice to support individuals in recognizing patterns that no longer serve them. During sessions, Princess holds space for clients to process life circumstances and she offers a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to support clients in achieving their unique goals in therapy. Other useful modalities that Princess utilizes are Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and others. Princess is also a spiritual herbalist, small business owner and has been a community organizer for the past 10+ years. Her wide array of knowledge in various fields allows her to support clients to address issues within personal relationships, entrepreneurship, political and work/career realms.
